California King Salmon fishing is one of Northern California's most exciting fisheries. Our trips take you offshore in search of hard-fighting Chinook Salmon while enjoying spectacular coastal scenery and the thrill of fishing aboard the Ranger.

Captain Paul uses years of local knowledge and fish-finding technology to locate active salmon, giving anglers the best opportunity for success.

Trips are great for beginners, experienced anglers, families, and groups.

Q: Do I need a fishing license?

A: Yes, all anglers 16 and older must have a valid California fishing license before boarding.

Q: Are rods available to rent?

A: Yes, rod rentals are available for $25 and include bait.

Q: Is bait included?

A: Yes, bait is included with your trip. Salmon balls are $12.

Q: Can beginners come?

A: Absolutely. Our trips are great for beginners, and the crew is happy to help you every step of the way.

Q: What if I get seasick?

A: We recommend taking motion sickness medication before boarding if you are prone to seasickness. Please follow the directions on the package.

Q: How long is the trip?

A: Salmon trips are approximately 8–10 hours, depending on conditions and fishing action.
